I tried to buy a Rolex watch from N. Fox Jewelers. What I had hoped to be a decent experience instead deteriorated into oblivion. If you are wanting to buy a Rolex here, don't bother. They will not sell you one and lie about every which way why they can't (*wont, spoiler - they can, it depends on who you are).
While being judged from top to bottom the moment I first walked in as what I can only describe as poor and unworthy of their jewelry, I was offered the humiliating experience to join their wish list of exclusive elite billionaires waiting to purchase a watch, which in all likelihood this scribbled list was fed to the trash can.
I was told a wait of fifty, then hundreds, then maybe more. Who knows? They don't, and you wont! It's insane. The story was changing by the moment and varied on who you spoke to. Matt will tell you something, Chrissy will tell you something, Harvey will tell you another. All conflicting nonsense. Breaking down some quick math, it becomes actually impossible to buy a watch based on the provided information. I tested my you're-not-getting-a-rolex theory and pointed to every single watch in the case to buy. Nope! None of them, ever.
I've accepted they are not in the business of selling watches. Or that I'm totally beneath them as a customer. Likely both. OK, that should have been it. Goodbye, please see your peasant self out the door. Unfortunately the situation worsened. Matt agreed to size a brand new Omega watch I brought in. He botched the job - bad. Stripped screw heads, deep gashes in the stainless finish, etc. I likely could have done a better job with a rusty tool kicking around my shed. I paid $26.75 for this service. Bracelet ruined. Fast forward over a week with some unproductive back and forth correspondence - Chrissy agrees to replace the bracelet. Great! Nope. Harvey, the owner, calls me the next day and 180 backtracks on that. He's no longer doing it. Excuse me? No good reason, just a lot of blah blah, pleading for to take down my prior review. Total rug pull!
Harvey cared more about my google review than fixing this ridiculous situation. I guess I'm left without recourse aside from small claims court.
So here I am with my trashed watch bracelet left to pound sand. I'm not again updating my review less the bracelet is replaced as Chrissy promised.

I was treated poorly here. I wanted to purchase a Rolex watch and was declined any sort of sale. I felt degraded and profiled as someone not worth their time. They at least helped me create a wish list of watches for continued humiliation.
They gave me the whole story of they have no inventory, cannot meet demand, ultra exclusive, etc. I was told things such as fifty people ahead of you and years of waiting for one watch. The actual ploy is artificial scarcity and to supply grey market dealers out the back door for above retail profit. I contacted Rolex HQ in NYC and they explained that the stores can order any current watches they wish. When they do order the watches, it then all becomes favoritism, discrimination, and possible unethical dealing practice.
I brought my Omega Speedmaster there to be resized and while participating in their charades, pleading to be worthy of Rolex consideration, they damaged my watch with reckless abandon. They stripped out all of my screws and gouged my bracelet. After I paid them for the service, they muttered they typically wouldn't work on an Omega, scoffing, in a tone as if it were beneath them, and then spun the dialog of their shoddy job as a favor I should be thankful for.
I am actively trying to resolve this issue now. Whether they make good on my Speedmaster or not, it does not absolve them from their awful treatment towards me. This place screams ultra wealthy elite and peasants are not welcome.

This is the crappiest overall place I've been to in a very long time. I wanted to purchase a Rolex watch so I visited here as they are a dealer. Walking in I felt profiled instantly. Caught looks like this guy must be poor. Stuffy snotty experience right off the bat. To the watches. Not for sale. Not for me, at least. We can put you on the imaginary waiting list. OK, I'm on the pretend list. A few weeks later I inquired to have another watch of mine sized. Sure, no problem. I visit to have the watch sized and thought to check the off limits Rolex watches out again. I had interest in a different Rolex model this time. Tried it on. Not for sale! I started to dig a bit for an actual answer of what is going on here and I still don't buy any of it. The sales associate told me they have zero watches available. None. Not a single one. Not in the back. Nowhere. Then mentioned they can sometimes sell from the display case. Great! I would like that one. Oh, it's already sold. To who? He's out of the county. He leaves his watch here for fun? Yep. I was then told for that specific model (GMT II), there was a line, of fifty (five zero!) people waiting for the exact watch. So pretty much a blatant lie because it would render ever getting one virtually impossible. OK how about the other one in the case? LOL no. The whole experience felt demeaning and I was absolutely lied to about their watches and selling practices. The cherry on top is the person resizing my watch destroyed all of my stainless screws. They look like someone went in there with a drill bit and stripped them all out. This is on an Omega Speedmaster not some junk. While conversing more into their crazy we're-not-selling-you-a-rolex story, they then mutter they typically wouldn't resize an Omega, making it feel like a super inconvenient favor that I should be on my hands and knees thanking them for after I just paid to have it done. These bracelets are all the same. Metal links. Metal screws. This place is wack from top to bottom. Everyone in the reviews showing off their Rolex name dropping their sales associate is probably a fake review. I would bet they just backdoor these watches to make more money because I didn't sense an ounce of integrity here. Thanks for destroying my speedy screws and flexing on me with how much you would rather sell to your obviously filthy rich out of the country customers.
