He was rude, dismissive, and clearly not knowledgeable about Primark’s own return policy. When I showed him the official policy directly from the Primark website, he responded with, “I don’t care, I will not be accepting this return.” That level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable, especially coming from management. He raised his voice in front of other customers, which was embarrassing and unnecessary. I have already reported this incident to Primark corporate because no customer should be treated this way. Anyway, I went to another Primark location afterward, and when I explained what had happened, the staff there were shocked. They apologized on his behalf and confirmed that this should never have been an issue in the first place. Policies are in place so confusions like this don’t occur. He reports this name is Mohammed but refused to give us his general managers name. This manager is a poor representation of the company and needs serious retraining—or replacement.
