    My daughter bought me a $1400 necklace. She just had had a baby. I didn’t want her to spend so much money on me. So i went to the store and asked for them to kindly return it and refund it back to my daughter’s card. They were very kind to refund it.

    I went in to Tiffany’s today and had a terrible experience. I asked the representative on the 3rd floor about the specific diamond ratios on a 7 carat round halo diamond. She kept accusing me of talking about a lab diamond. I said no the cut ratio that gives the diamond the sparkle. She kept saying they are all “perfect here” she said “I didn’t get it”. I said “I’m referring to the diamonds, table, depth, crown angle, pavilion angle, and crown height on the this particular 7 carat diamond”. She told me they don’t do that here and I never asked for her to remove the diamond, she jumped to “this diamond is too expensive to remove you need to make an appointment”. If she didn’t know the answer all she had to do was ask her superiors and show the associated GIA report. She walked away and was terrible. I’ll never be back. If you’re paying that kind of money for an engagement ring, I just wanted to know the specifics.

    Extremely disappointing shopping experience at the Tiffany store in Rockefeller Center. From the moment I walked in, I did not feel welcome at all: no one greeted me, no acknowledgment, no attention. I had to ask for assistance regarding a bracelet priced at over $800, expecting at least a level of service worthy of the brand. The sales associate who assisted me, Sara S*, showed me the bracelet and let me try two different sizes. When I asked if she could recommend other models, the answer was a blunt “no”, with no interest, no suggestions, and no effort to understand my needs. I could have potentially purchased more bracelets, but the associate showed no interest whatsoever. She seemed bothered, had a long face, was rude and not friendly at all, and did the bare minimum just to make the sale. There were no questions, no advice, no customer care. The overall attitude was cold and dismissive, making the experience absolutely negative. This is exactly what should never happen in a brand like Tiffany. The difference between Tiffany and brands like Pandora is supposed to be the experience, not just the price — and in this case, the experience was terrible. I will never come back.
