  Before coming to this store, I had visited another shop called Paragon Sports. They didn't have the racket I needed, and even if they had, I would have had to wait several extra days to get it strung. I don't have much free time to be traveling back and forth from Brooklyn to Manhattan multiple times just for a single racket, yet I really wanted to buy one that very day. I called this store an hour before closing time; they confirmed that the racket was in stock. I arrived 20 minutes later, bought it, and—most importantly—THEY STRUNG IT THAT SAME DAY. I was absolutely thrilled to walk away with my racket that very day. I would like to express my immense gratitude to the store owner and everyone involved in the process. Your service exceeded my expectations! I wish your business continued success and prosperity!

  Great selection of tennis racquets, super helpful staff, and stringing is fast and very professional. Definitely recommend.

  have never had a bad experience here! very fast with stringing (day turnaround) and every associate who has helped me has been knowledgeable about both frames and strings and they all seem to know what they’re talking about. jason was very helpful and patient when recommending and helping me pick out rackets to demo. there were at least 2 others that helped me in my process but never got their names sadly. they have a very reasonable demo program and can call you to let you know when a racket you want to demo is brought in if they don’t currently have it. thank you for the positive experience, excited about my new racket!

  Woody and the team at NYC Racquet Sports are the right mix of professional, knowledgeable, and friendly/ easy going. I’ve been coming in here and there over the years, at first only for stringing. They have always been consultative - helping me choose the right string and tension for what I’m trying to achieve on the court. More recently, I turned to them to help pick new racquets for my fiancée and I. My fiancée insisted on a pink/purple racquet, and Woody helped us find the right one, ordered it, allowed us to demo it before buying. For myself- similar treatment with demo before buying. Demo costs credited to the racquet purchase at the end. Consulted me through two string options as I’m testing what works best for my game. Can’t thank the team enough for the white glove service. I’d highly recommend them for any/all racquet stringing, purchasing, and everything else they offer.

  Woody helped me and my husband with a very important purchase. Shoes. It was so good that I bought new strings and over grip. He took the time and explained to us everything. I highly recommend this store if you want to get the best attention possible. 10/10.
