  I had such an amazing experience at the Madewell location in Hudson Yards that I had to share! Taysia helped me find two perfect pairs of jeans—both incredibly comfortable and exactly my style. She has such a great sense of style herself that I asked her to help put together full outfits, and she absolutely delivered. She seemed to instantly understand what worked for my body type and picked out pieces that fit perfectly and felt so “me.” She was able to gauge my size just by looking at me—which was seriously impressive and made the whole process feel effortless. I trusted her right away because she was so polished and put-together—it was clear I was in great hands. Her product knowledge is impressive, and her customer service is truly top-tier. Honestly, the experience was so enjoyable I was tempted to buy even more! You can really tell this team values their customers. Everyone in the store was warm, welcoming, and created such a positive, relaxed shopping environment. Taysia especially stood out—not just for her expertise, but for how genuine and kind she was throughout my visit. The store itself was clean, well-organized, and easy to shop, which made the whole experience even better. This is by far the best Madewell location in the city. If you stop by, definitely ask for Taysia—you’ll be in excellent hands!

  This is the Madewell store to go to in NYC. The vibe here is great. The manager, Taysia, is super helpful without being pushy. And I noticed she’s just as friendly and supportive with her staff as she is with the customers, which makes it such a pleasant place to shop.

  Unfortunately the quality has gone massively down hill. Own tons of things from madewell but this pair of boots I purchased for $230 ripped literally a week or two later. I was then away for six weeks for work in Canada (which doesn’t have madewell). Just brought them in to ask for an exchange and was told I need to repurchase them… if your product breaks and it cost $230 an exchange should most certainly be allowed. I loved madewell but after this experience I will No longer be shopping there which is unfortunate since my office is in the building! Also to the manager who said she has never seen this problem, which I don’t disagree that maybe she hasn’t but so you’re aware I see multiple reviews on the website of people with the same issue over the last few weeks - screen shots attached.

  Taysia and Denise are the sweetest and most helpful store associates we have ever met!!!! Such a joyful shopping experience with those two. Run don’t walk to Madewell Hudson Yards
