  Expensive for cheaply made glasses. Not giving them my personal information again so they can get hacked and then not tell anyone. btw look up Luxottica hack. The Ray Ban logo is flaking off my shades that are less than a year old. Garbage quality from a garbage company.

  I want to take a moment to highlight truly exceptional service across two Manhattan locations of Sunglass Hut—the 5th Avenue flagship store and the SoHo location on Broadway, because outstanding experiences deserve to be shared just as much as negative ones. This entire experience began during one of the busiest shopping periods of the year, Black Friday. I was searching for new eyewear for both my husband and myself, and these were the only two locations that carried the styles we wanted. Because I do not live nearby and was traveling during inclement weather, I called ahead. Even during peak holiday traffic, the service I received over the phone from the 5th Avenue location was patient, welcoming, and genuinely helpful and that same energy carried through when I arrived in person. 5th Avenue Flagship Location: Under the leadership of Store Manager Wendy, the team operated seamlessly during an extremely busy time. Jenise, Kristen, and Kin were attentive, professional, and made two customers feel truly valued when it would have been easy to rush or dismiss. That level of care during high-volume moments speaks volumes about the culture in that store. SoHo Location – Broadway: At the SoHo location, my first interaction was with Kala, who assisted me with the initial pickup of my glasses with care and professionalism. After that first purchase, I experienced a few bumps along the road. During a second interaction, Emily stepped in and handled everything with patience, grace, and a clear focus on solutions. Together, Kala and Emily ensured the experience remained positive, respectful, and thoughtfully resolved. Across both locations, the consistency was remarkable. The service never felt transactional, it felt intentional. Follow-up calls and texts continued even after the sale, which is rare in retail today and deeply appreciated. It is clear that this level of excellence starts with leadership. The consistency across both stores reflects strong district leadership and a team culture built on accountability, professionalism, and genuine care. Five stars without hesitation. This is how customer service should feel.
