- EBE BNov 16, 20255.0Beautiful boutique with very friendly, sharp-dressed staff - from the doorman to every sales associate. The store had a fun and lively vibe, and even though it was busy, the staff made sure customers weren't left waiting outside on the cold. I had an online order to pick up, but the bag that was shipped to the store was already creased. In my opinion, that's not up to the luxury standard I expect. After thinking it over, I decided to return the bag. The staff were helpful in finding another one in other NYC locations since they were out of stock at 57th street. The return was easy and they were very kind. They showed me other gorgeous bags in store, and I think shopping in stock would be the way to go to assure the bag is in the best condition. Shopping YSL 57th location you will be treated to a swank boutique experience - the store is beautiful, but the service is the true luxury here. My only concern was the quality control, which isn't a reflection on the boutique itself. As a luxury shopper, I expect perfection, and I urge fellow shoppers to do the same - for the prices we pay, quality should be a given. But that is a note to all "luxury" brands in the year 2025, prices are going up, and it doesn't always feel like materials and quality are as well.
