  The in-store experience was great, but the post-purchase service was disappointing. I bought a coat and had to have the sleeves hemmed, and delivered to me after. The hemming and shipping took longer than the initial timeline, but the SA did not communicate this to me at all. It felt like radio silence after I bought the coat, and both my email and text went unanswered. Then the hanger was left out of the initial shipment. It took four weeks and two reminders for the hanger to get to me - after each reminder, the SA conveniently said she had spent the last two weeks on leave or on sick leave. It was insane that even after the first reminder, the shipment of the hanger still fell through the cracks. ?!? I expected more from a luxury brand.

  this store was perfect if you want to go shopping, great customer service, friendly staff. Everything here was amazing!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

  In terms of providing excellent customer service, Allen sets the bar exceptionally high at Max Mara's Madison Avenue location. He consistently provides great options tailored to my style and, best of all, he provides a no-pressure approach — he understands that significant purchases take time. Allen's commitment to Max Mara customers is also evident outside the store itself. Just recently, I texted him for advice on cleaning a coat in NYC. True to form, he replied instantly with helpful information. Max Mara is incredibly fortunate to have Allen on its front lines.

  I’ve gone to the store multiple times and I’ve always had good experiences. Today was a prime example of why I love shopping there. Now if you can see by my other review, I have no problem dragging, so take this one seriously. Today, I did not have a lot of time, but I had a lot of needs. I had to look like I have it together and I needed something for an interview that is life-changing. So I get over there and I gave a long list and Allen and Tamara helped me get my style on and while they were very quick and very detailed, they were more than attentive and gave me all the time I needed. I love when people can be professional, but have the warm personalities one might need when you feel like a stuffed sausage in a world full of supermodels. Consider asking for them when you need top service and low attitude. Thank you guys again!
