  In terms of providing excellent customer service, Allen sets the bar exceptionally high at Max Mara's Madison Avenue location. He consistently provides great options tailored to my style and, best of all, he provides a no-pressure approach — he understands that significant purchases take time. Allen's commitment to Max Mara customers is also evident outside the store itself. Just recently, I texted him for advice on cleaning a coat in NYC. True to form, he replied instantly with helpful information. Max Mara is incredibly fortunate to have Allen on its front lines.

  I’ve gone to the store multiple times and I’ve always had good experiences. Today was a prime example of why I love shopping there. Now if you can see by my other review, I have no problem dragging, so take this one seriously. Today, I did not have a lot of time, but I had a lot of needs. I had to look like I have it together and I needed something for an interview that is life-changing. So I get over there and I gave a long list and Allen and Tamara helped me get my style on and while they were very quick and very detailed, they were more than attentive and gave me all the time I needed. I love when people can be professional, but have the warm personalities one might need when you feel like a stuffed sausage in a world full of supermodels. Consider asking for them when you need top service and low attitude. Thank you guys again!

  My girlfriend called ahead and spoke with Maria to confirm the availability of a couple of items. She was told they were in stock, so she rearranged her busy schedule to visit the store. Upon arrival, Maria informed her that the items were not actually available. There was no apology, nor did she seem concerned about the inconvenience caused. Extremely disappointing service, I would expect far better from Max Mara, or any retailer for that matter.

  Rude and curt staff. I called to inquire about sizing carried in store and when speaking to a staff member she audibly sighed in exasperation at my question like I was inconveniencing her. I checked my call logs and the phone conversation was only 2 minutes long. At the price point for their clothes, the store should be hiring people who understand that customer questions about sizing are normal and should be expected, and are not bothered by providing baseline, normal polite customer service.
