Own tons of things from madewell but this pair of boots I purchased for $230 ripped literally a week or two later. I was then away for six weeks for work in Canada (which doesn’t have madewell). Just brought them in to ask for an exchange and was told I need to repurchase them… if your product breaks and it cost $230 an exchange should most certainly be allowed. I loved madewell but after this experience I will No longer be shopping there which is unfortunate since my office is in the building! Also to the manager who said she has never seen this problem, which I don’t disagree that maybe she hasn’t but so you’re aware I see multiple reviews on the website of people with the same issue over the last few weeks - screen shots attached.

A HUGE shout out to Taysia who went above and beyond to help me. She was super kind, attentive, and made me feel so comfortable asking questions and trying things on. It made all the difference in my experience shopping there. The overall energy of the store is great. Everyone I interacted with was so friendly, helpful, and approachable. I had visited another Madewell location in the city later in the week and the contrast was night and day. This team truly shows what great a great customer experience should feel like. Huge thanks to Taysia and the team for making me want to come back again and again. You've set the bar high!!!!
