When they did not have my husband’s ring size, Serena suggested that we go to the Hudson Yards store as they had 2 in stock. After arriving to the Hudson Yards store and explaining the situation to Niko he was very short and dismissive. While he did bring out the ring, when we went to pay he did not check ID for my card and when I mentioned checking my ID he stated “oh I see you in front of me” (Not verifying our identity AT ALL).

This included everyone in the store from the moment we walked in, but want to especially thank our sales rep Senat and the service agent Mohammed. If you're a tourist, go to the Mansion (their service was a joke). If you're a buyer, go to Hudson Yards (and ask for Senat)!

Before purchasing, I told the sales representative I did not know my mom’s ring size and was assured that exchanging it later would be easy. On January 3rd, I returned to the store to exchange the ring and was denied, being told the ring showed “signs of wear.” This is simply not true. The ring was not worn beyond briefly trying it on for sizing, and it was in the EXACT condition when it was sold to me. I asked to speak with the store manager, Noor, who was unable to help and instead accused us of wearing the ring. We are now left with an expensive ring that does not fit and is not a style my mother likes, after being reassured at purchase that exchanging is an easy process. My advise: DO NOT SHOP at this location. If you must, TAKE PICTURES OF THE ITEMS condition BEFORE purchase. It’s truly unfortunate, as experiences like this really take away from the Cartier experience.. and the joy of the Holidays.
