The staff bombard you with “Do you need any help today?” as soon as you walk in, and you have to be on your guard the entire time. It’s small, cramped and dirty compared to the 6th Avenue location, and there was once a homeless person chilling on the bench in the front with a huge cart of stuff and I guess the staff didn’t care enough to ask them to leave. Things are always sold out because art students flock here like they’re on a pilgrimage. I say that as an art student. Go to the 6th Avenue location. Better staff, bigger selection. You’ll thank me later.
