- SCSteve C.Feb 12, 20265.0Just found, and had dealings with this company today, February of 2026. My experience was great, and certainly worthy of leaving a review on. If I have great service, and food, at a restaurant, I always ask my server to pass on my thanks to the cooks in the back. The server gets a tip based on service provided but the chefs working away behind the scenes get nothing. I always make it known that I sent my thanks, because I believe managers always get called to a table, when there is an issue, but I think people forget that when things go great, they should also be told that. That's why I'm leaving a review on assouline, specifically Yadira who I dealt with online and quickly over the phone also. She provided me very courteous and perfect help which I needed placing my order on a, to me anyway, very expensive coffee table book. Above and beyond, and exceeding expectations. Review worthy help. Customer service is a dying skillet it sometimes feels like to me. People are tired, overworked, underpaid, then to have to deal with irate customers on top of tat makes anyone working in a service related industry, ripe for a meltdown ! That's why when I get great service, no matter where or what it's based on, I make it a priority to mention it. Because it matters. And because if they see it, maybe it brightens their day a little when they weren't expecting it. And great service absolutely should be mentioned, and commented on. So, if Yadira ever sees this, many thanks for your level of professional help and kindness helping this old dude with an order. It could just have easily been ignored, or set aside as something to eventually address, or pass the buck on because that would be easier. She dealt with helping me, perfectly. In the manner that an expensive purchase would hope to be handled with. Grade A communication and order help, in a genial fashion. Many thanks. Steve C.
