  Worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. Went in to do a return and waited nearly 30 minutes for the person who was helping me while he was on the phone with customer service. I waited extremely patiently, and I already explained my situation nearly three times. After waiting all this time, he told me I had to pay a tax in order to return to the store, which I paid. After paying, he said it was still not working and started asking me more questions about my situation. At this point, I finally got fed up and explained to him that I had told him my situation three times, and I really have to go, and I do not really know what else to tell him. At this point, he claimed I was getting difficult and yelling at him, and basically gave me my return back and said he can't help me and sent me away. I was nothing but patient and kind the whole time. Truly a terrible experience considering the expensive prices in the store. I will never come back. I would recommend avoiding this store as well.

  I went inside the Alo soho location and the manager Chris who’s never being guest centric was there. Every single time I have shopped at this location, it’s been a disaster with him being there. I’ve stopped shopping this brand all together, due to lack of customer service at this location. Today I placed an order for buy online, pick up in store (same day.) at 3pm and arrived at 7:30 attempting to pick up my items. This location stopped picking orders at 6pm the manager refused to help to just pick my two items, resulting in me canceling my entire order all together. This manager also went back in forth with me becoming combative in front of other guest, until I said you’re really going to become disrespectful at your place of work. I am so sick of the lack of care this location and manager has for guest.

  I had the worst experience here yesterday. So I am exchanging my online order at the store from a medium to a small. And they messed up and ordered me another M. Then i confronted them that they made a mistake. Without apologies, the girl who helped me talked back about me with her manager. Try to blame this on me. The service is very slow at the store, employees are not trained. The exchange process takes me 30mins. This is not okay.

  I visited this ALO store for the first time in my life a few weeks ago, searching for a new workout set to support my fitness journey. Liana assisted me and provided an exceptional experience! she was attentive, knowledgeable, and made thoughtful recommendations that perfectly suited my preferences. Her genuine care and professionalism made me feel truly valued as a customer. Thank you, Liana! I look forward to returning soon for more!! I hope her outstanding service is recognized.

  절대 가지마세요 하루 기분 망치실 수 있어요^^ 직원이란 사람들이 대여섯명있는데 노래부르고 춤추고 있고 자기네들끼리 소통 안돼서 사이즈 체크도 잘 못하고. 사이즈 요청하고 20분넘게 기다렸는데 한다는 소리가 사이즈 없다는 말. 미안하다고도 안하고 자기 동료 핑계들 댑니다. 더 문제는 있는 사이즈를 없다고함. 팔 생각이 없어보임. 매니저 불러서 뭐라하니까 아무 의미 없었던게 매니저도 똑같음. 멍때리다가 쏘리 하고 자기 갈길 가버려요. 사이즈 없다고 한 직원은 매니저랑 얘기하니까 혼날거는 또 무서웠는지 갑자기 달려오더니 사이즈 찾았다고 하고 난리법석. 인종차별인지 모든 인종에게 다 그런지 모르겠지만, 문제가 확실히 있고 뉴욕에 플래그십 매장인데 이정도로 관리하면 alo 브랜드도 잠깐 뜨고 지는 브랜드가 될거라 예측해봅니다~ 퉤퉤~~~ 우리 한국인들끼리라도 불매해야 쟤네가 정신차리죠오 도와주십셔어어 Don’t ever go there — it can ruin your whole day. There were about six employees, all singing and dancing around, completely disorganized and unable to communicate with each other. They couldn’t even check sizes properly. I asked for a size and waited over 20 minutes, only to be told they didn’t have it. No apology — they just blamed their coworkers. Worse yet, they did have the size but claimed they didn’t. They clearly had no intention of actually selling anything. When I asked for the manager, it didn’t help at all — the manager was exactly the same. He just zoned out, said “sorry,” and walked away. Then, the employee who said there was no size must’ve been scared of getting in trouble, because she suddenly came running back saying she “found it!” — complete chaos. I’m not sure if it was discrimination or if they treat everyone like this, but either way, there’s definitely a problem. If this is how they run their New York flagship store, I predict that Alo will be just another brand that flares up for a moment and fades away soon. Disgraceful
