  Stopped by the Canada Goose NYC store last week and had a really solid experience. The store itself is super clean and well organized, but what stood out the most was the service. Shae, the manager, really made the difference. She was down to earth, easy to talk to, and actually took the time to help without making it feel forced or like a sales pitch. You can tell she genuinely cares about how customers are treated and runs a tight team. Everyone there was helpful, but Shae set the tone. It made the whole experience feel smooth and comfortable instead of rushed. Definitely one of the better retail experiences I’ve had in the city—I’ll be back for sure.

  I had a great experience working with Amanda who helped me select some cold-weather gear. She was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain the differences between options without any pressure. Her recommendation ended up being a smart investment and easily one of the best purchases I’ve made for cold weather here in NYC. I’m genuinely glad I listened to her advice and would absolutely recommend her to anyone coming into the 5th ave location.

  Extremely poor experience. Very disappointed. I purchased a jacket in New Jersey, and the button fell off on the second wear, which is clearly a serious quality issue. Because i live near this store, soI brought it to the store for an exchange under warranty. At first, one staff member told me she couldn’t help with anything at all. Only after I insisted did she speak with the manager, who finally approved an exchange for a new jacket. Then things got worse. The staff member told me that because I bought it in NJ, I had to pay the NY tax difference. I was very upset and made it clear that this was not my problem. I was not repurchasing the item — I was exchanging it due to a manufacturing defect. There is absolutely no reason I should pay additional tax. After checking with the manager again, they finally agreed to exchange it without charging me and handed me the jacket, already packaged. When I got home and opened it, I was disgusted: • The white jacket had no tags • The sleeves were dirty • There were visible white foundation stains around the collar This is completely unacceptable for a so-called new replacement from a premium brand. Terrible quality control, poor customer service, and an unacceptable exchange experience. I do not recommend this store.
