  We have stayed at the Plaza multiple times. And we have visited through the Assouline boutique each time we stayed. I have normally acquired my Assouline books through my home designer/decorator. The Plaza boutique were always so kind and so happy to educate us about their offerings. It was great touch and see the books before getting them through my home designer/decorator. But recently I ran into a situation where my decorator could not get a particular book, so I reached out to Jose at the Plaza Assouline boutique, and he was so amazing! He found the book that I was looking for as a gift to my wife for our anniversary and got it delivered immediately! She loved the present and as always, the product was first class. As a businesss owner myself, I understand and appreciate when team members like Jose go out of their way to take care of customers! He exceeded all expectations! I will now always reach out to Jose at The Plaza Assouline boutique for all of my requests for their awesome products!

  Several weeks ago I visited this beautiful Assouline boutique inside the Plaza Hotel and had a great experience! I worked with Jose, who was incredibly kind, knowledgable, and patient in helping me find the right book for my son. There is a wide selection of books at the shop ranging from topics like engineering, travel, and fashion, all of which are extremely detailed and of high quality. I highly recommend visiting this boutique if you are interested In a unique decorative piece that helps you learn something new!

  We called ahead to ensure we could visit even though we were not staying at the hotel- we wanted to take my husband for his birthday. They assured us we could. When we arrived we were told at the hotel entrance that only one person could go inside the hotel at a time in order to shop in the bookstore. It was such a let down and also something that could have been communicated when we called ahead. Unfortunately it wasn’t as fun for my husband to go in alone and have us stay outside in the cold so he did not enjoy it and did not end up purchasing anything.
