  I just want to acknowledge the amazing employees at American. Every time I visit, I’m treated with respect and kindness. Emily — the mama of the team — is absolutely wonderful. She’s always accommodating, patient, and truly takes care of customers who speak with respect. The young girls who work there are also incredibly polite, helpful, and always willing to assist with a great attitude. I’ve consistently been treated fairly here, and the service has always been exceptional. Thank you to the whole team for creating such a positive and welcoming environment!

  I’m very disappointed with my recent experience at American Eagle. We went in expecting to use a discount code that we received directly from an official American Eagle text message. The young lady who helped us, Leslie, refused to honor the discount and said it wasn’t valid even though we showed her the message. She called her boss, and while on the phone, she was laughing at us and acting very unprofessional. When I asked for her boss’s name, she asked for permission before giving it and laughed again, saying her name was Emily. To make things worse, they ended up honoring the discount for my sister but not for me when we both went into the store with the intention of using the discount. I’ve since called corporate and filed a complaint, and I’m waiting for a follow-up. Corporate has the exact date and time we were there, and I told them to check the cameras to see how we were treated. We’re very loyal American Eagle customers and spend a lot there, so this kind of behavior is really disappointing. Hopefully, the company takes this seriously and addresses the behavior of these employees. I will make sure I continue to follow up with this and get resolution.

  I visited American Eagle today to make a return from an online purchase and was disappointed by the customer service I received. The associate assisting me appeared distracted, standing behind the register with her phone up, and when I asked a few questions, she did not acknowledge me. I don’t typically write negative reviews, but I left the store feeling upset and unvalued as a customer.
