  I go there to return and buy a new bag. Not even a month later, the zipper on the bag breaks. I go in there, they give me a new one no problem. I am about the use the bag and there is no chain that comes with it. They forgot it- most annoying thing is I live almost an hour away, they are expecting me to go back in store and pick it up even though it was their fault for not putting the chain in the bag to begin with. Super disappointed.

  I purchased a bag online and had it shipped to the store. It took about a week for it to arrive. Upon arrival it took a good 10 minutes for someone to assist me- although there were several sales people milling around. Finally someone asked to assist; however, when I gave my info, they couldn’t locate the bag. I dealt with a few people who tried to look up the order; had one person ask me if I ordered something in Mexico (what??) and finally 20 minutes later, Ashley, the “ operations manager” let me know that they shipped the wrong bad to the store. She said that they would have another bag shipped ( no apologies mind you) and I could pick it up when it arrived. I explained to her that this was a birthday gift for my daughter and could not wait for another store, to ship it to their store so I could in turn pick it up. I asked if they could just ship it directly to my home. She said that she could not because it was an online purchase. Now, I am spending good money on this purchase, have waited long enough for this bag, which through no fault of mine, now promises to arrive late. Ashley made no attempt to pick up a phone and even attempt to rectify. She was a hard “ this is the way it is” period- end of it. Instead or arguing with her- I and as difficult as it was, I took a deep breath, went to my car and called Louis Vuitton client services. I was reassured by a wonderful, professional and attentive representative who was able to order the bag, have it delivered overnight to my home ( free of charge) and in the process apologized profusely for the mix up. Now THIS is the level of service Luis Vuitton should be providing customers! These folks in the Manhasset store are clueless and have a great deal to learn- especially Ms. Ashley. Stay away, don’t waste your time, and ride in to Manhattan for a better LV experience.
