Founded in Vancouver BC in 1998, the first lululemon shared its retail space with a yoga studio. We've been growing ever since, and our technical yoga and run clothes are now available in countries all over the world. We want to elevate the world from mediocrity to greatness. Our Mission Statement is to create components for people to live longer, healthier, fun lives. We make technical athletic apparel for yoga, dancing, and most other sweaty pursuits.

- CLCatherine LangOct 25, 20255.0I had a very pleasant experience at Lululemon in Walt Whitman mall recently! Amanda, the manager, went above and beyond for me. I am often in the store looking around and chatting with some of the more friendly employees. A few days ago during one of these conversations, I was explaining how I had been emailed a discount code from Lululemon and purchased a bunch of items that ultimately never got delivered. Corporate opened a case and initially didn't even offer me a refund or replacement for the items. 2 more phone calls later and another case review, they did refund my money (whew!), but never offered any reinstatement of the discount code. The store employee (Jen) was so empathetic and went to Amanda the manager, while I was in the fitting room. Amanda was apologetic over the situation (totally not necessary) and then very generously offered a courtesy discount to me! This gesture of good will was so impressive to me; what wonderful customer service! Thank you Amanda and Jen!
