  I went in looking for a bag strap and the girl working looked at me like I was talking a different language and didn’t help me at all or even attempted to help, very disappointing and left as fast as I could

  I had a very mixed experience in this location, mostly negative but ended positive. Some employees were amazing and went above and beyond to help but others were beyond rude and acted like you owe them the world. I came all the way from NYC to do an online return today on 12/23 because I needed the correct size for a Christmas gift. The girl in the returns counter told me that they do not do exchanges but I would be able to price match what I paid online at the regular counter. Slightly inconvenient, but fine, I don’t mind doing that. All I did was kindly repeated what the online return employee told me but the employee behind the counter, Wendy (this was the name in my receipt), was aggressive and rude the entire time to a point that I felt very uncomfortable. Then when I asked for a second bag, because I am traveling back from this location to NYC and it is a heavy coat, she purposely RIPPED the second bag, laughed, and violently pushed the bag towards me. Like who does that????? I was at a loss of words because I just couldn’t believe what was happening. Zero customer service and even have the audacity to continue laughing about it to the male employee next to her within ear shot of me like she just made the funniest joke in the world. I’m at a point in my life that I’m not going to start arguing with rude, childish people like you Wendy, because clearly you hate your job and was looking for a reaction from me. I’m not as immature as you Wendy, especially since you looked way older than me. That’s just embarrassing to be acting like a child at your grown age. Kindness is free. Thankful Angela, the woman who helped me at the online return counter was beyond kind and considerate, and gave me another bag to replace the broken one. But nevertheless I will not be shopping here again. 2 stars instead of 1 because Angela did help make my experience better, however the previous, most recent reviews for this location were correct, the staff in this location would benefit from customer service training, ESPECIALLY Wendy. And unfortunately I will reconsider shopping elsewhere whenever I need to buy another winter coat, because as much as I like Lands End as a company, and was a loyal customer for years, this experience left such a significant, negative impression that I don’t think I can come back without the fear of the employees being bullies for no reason.
