My experience with ALO in Walt Whitman mall was the best they were so friendly & professional that made me bought a hoodie for my husband, but on 11/07/25 me & my husband walked in Roosevelt field mall ALO he wanted to buy me the Yoga set, some how our Zara bag tore apart I asked the associate if I can get a bag he said go to the counter I did go waited but my husband went ahead asked for a bag I don’t know she was the manager on the counter she was like if you buy something then I can give u bag she was so unprofessional & rude. She wasn’t really helpful she did give but words coming out of her mouth didn’t look like she was a professional manager & the staff looked really rude & didn’t want to help. I guess they should get more training from Walt Whitman mall’s staff & manager how to make customers feel welcome . The Roosevelt field mall ALO doesn’t even deserve one star. ALO management should hire more professional employees & manager in this location. I won’t go there shopping anymore instead I would drive to Walt Whitman mall location. Period

Customer service is HORRIBLE the system is HORRIBLE my wife was given a gift from there and the top was one size to small she went asked to change it NOT REFUND and the process is no receipt no exchange. If she was asking for a refund I would respect no receipt policy hands down but to tell you to call customer service and they'll help you and be on hold for 47 minutes to hear exactly what was said in the store is insane. The attitude the employees have towards helping you is insane especially with the prices it's not a low end store where you get way more respect and the employees are a lot more helpful and considerate.

Not really a review writer or reader for that fact but in looking up the store locations, I decided to read the reviews on this particular location and boy o boy they were not great. Being a woman of color, I was skeptical going in and already had my guards up and yes upon entering the store I didn't not feel welcomed and began thinking the reviews were right. I told my girl friend the same and was completely cut off by Courtney and her super bubbly personality. She not only smoothed me over but she even pitched the idea of me applying to work there and the benefits. She told me about her outfit and all the colors it came in. There was also a gentleman at the register with super curly hair and captivating eyes who was also super helpful. I don't remember his name..uugghh. There was a problem with exchanging my item that took longer than expected but the continous apologies and side conversation made up for it. I ended up leaving the store until my issue was corrected and was texted by Courtney within minutes once they were done. I was given a free bottled water for the inconvenience which spoke volumes for how much these two individuals enjoy their jobs and just being human in these times. Fitting room girl was a little snotty and sent me to look for an item myself on the rack but the overall experience omitted those feelings in writing this review.
