I recently had a wonderful experience at the Breitling store in Garden City. Although I didn't intend to purchase anything, the staff treated me with the utmost care and attention. I brought in a vintage/retro Breitling Crosswind watch that I had recently inherited and wanted to identify the movement, check the calibration, and check the water seals. I was in town for a couple of days, and since there are no nearby Breitling stores in my hometown of Albany, NY - I called them up to inquire about having my watch looked at by the onsite watch smith. They invited me to come in and have the watch looked at without an appointment. The service I received was complimentary for Breitling owners, but I was treated no differently than someone who was about to make a purchase. The consultants were very knowledgeable, pleasant and welcoming, and they shared with me their expertise about my watch, which made me even more excited about it.
I would like to give a special mention to Arshan Pazooki, who was very polite and helpful over the phone and invited me to visit the store the next day. Arshan was very knowledgeable about his craft and also had a great sense of humor that I truly appreciated. I also want to mention Caleb Keeler, who was also very knowledgeable and passionate about his work. It was a delight to hear him talk about watches and other things while my watch was being looked at by the watch-smith.
Before leaving, I was sent off with an invite to a future event at the store, a beautiful Breitling hat, a Breitling history book, a high-quality watch polishing cloth, and a travel case.
Thank you both for making my day/weekend!
