The customer service in this store is beyond frustrating and unacceptable. I came into the Williamsburg location excited to make my very first purchase at Alo. I was online shopping and noticed the items I wanted were available at this store. I drove down expecting amazing customer service and to try on and buy the items that were available in store. I show up and the associate seemed like she didn’t want to help me. I asked for the items and she said they’re not available which was very confusing because on the website it still shows it’s available. I tried to call the store prior to showing up but no on EVER picked up the phone (since Friday I was calling btw) I mentioned that to the associate and her response was very unprofessional stating the phones don’t work. I’m in disbelief that a store with this high volume and price point value wouldn’t have a working phone for customers and why they would have system that misleads customers to coming to a store for items that “they don’t have in stock” and associates that aren’t customer friendly or trying or willing to show the customer something else. Shopping in stores are supposed to be a helpful pleasant experience. I will not be making any purchases from Alo in store or online. I’m truly disappointed.

Estaba muy contenta cuándo abrieron esta tienda en el área, e ido unas cuántas veces y me gustó mucho, pero fui esta semana y el trato fue horrible, me sentí tan mal que agarré mi compra y me salí, no se si es racismo pero me trató la chica super mal

They have a scummy return policy: if you use a gift card as part of a purchase, and you return ANY item from that purchase, the return credits back onto the gift card instead of your form of payment, even if the value of the items you DIDN’T return still exceeds the gift card amount. Alo obviously does this to keep the money in their ecosystem. The people working there feign indifference or genuinely don’t care. Scam. Avoid.

Every experience me and my 25 year old daughter online or in store has been terrible.
Clothing is often not sized correctly, falls apart and is impossible to return without jumping through my obstacles. I do admit their items can be cute but not worth it,
