  It’s always a please doing business with the Hannoush’s team. Our family has been doing business with them for over 30 years. They have quality and unique pieces that you don’t see in other jewelry stores. It’s a plus having a jewelry designer and maker on staff. Joe has made me some beautiful pieces. Albert, David and all of the Hannoush staff are the best of the best. And we will always treasure our past experiences with Eli. Thank you Brianna and Brittney for helping us with the most recent special purchases. 😊

  I found 2 rings I was interested in - one clearly out of my price range ($7k+), and another more within it for $2.8k that I liked. Based on the current price of gold, its weight and karat; it would be worth around $1,200. It was explained to me that the other $1.6k is justified for the labor and design that goes into the ring. - Just to be clear, I was shopping for wedding bands. $1.6k for design talent and labor on a ring likely mass produced by a machine? I don’t think so. I asked for some reduction on the price. The Albany location took a whopping $250 off and Clifton Park who had the same ring - $0.00. She wouldn’t even ask the manager. I went online last night and found the same exact ring, same weight, same everything. $1,330 out the door, and yes, they are a jewelry store too. Ultimately, I found a different ring that was similar in style. It is 2 full grams heavier and 1mm wider than the one pictured in this review at Hannoush and was $800. Needless to say, the online retailer got $2,047 from me last night and that included overnight shipping. Hannoush was nearly $1600 heavy on their ring which is approximately a 150% markup according to my calculations. All I kept hearing from the sales staff was, “Yeah, the price of gold is the highest it’s ever been.” What a great line to justify massive margins, right? I wasn’t buying it and I’m glad I didn’t. These guys are very aggressive with their pricing. It’s clear many of their sales associates have marching orders to justify bloated prices rather than negotiate to a fair selling price. I’ll shop there again to look at rings or whatever jewelry I’m interested in because they have a nice selection, but after a couple of pictures and maybe getting the name of the designer; I’ll be returning home and taking to the internet. REPLY TO HANNOUSH 6.8g - same 14k - same 2 tone, same exact design 6mm width - same 30 day money back guarantee $1,330 vs. $2,800 with zero willingness to move. If I’m missing something here I’ll gladly change my review, but if this comes down to we don’t know the “manufacturer or craftsman”, who cares? Same design, same weight, same Karat, same width, $1,500 less expensive. I love making friends. I have many at places I patronize in the capital region. It’s just too expensive to be yours at the moment and I find that disappointing considering you have some nice pieces. I would have paid $2k for that ring from Hannoush. That would have made the ring $700 higher than the online retailer and my jeweler would have been local to me. That way, I know that I’ll get personal service. That’s why I would be willing to pay $700 more for a total of $2k. A fair number. Look… best of luck. Very nice store, nice set up, but trying to cash in on citing the price of gold at the moment is a tacky sales tactic designed for impulsive and uneducated consumer. I’ll bump ya to 2 stars for presentation in your stores though.
