The Carhartt Store in Crossgates Mall is situated in Albany, NY, at the junction of I-87 and I-90, the busiest section of the New York State Thruway. Since the late 18th Century, Albany has made a name for itself as a center of trade and transportation, and was home to some of the earliest railway systems in the world.
That’s why you’ll see a few subtle nods to the railroad industry when you step through the doors at the Carhartt Store. Opened in April 2012, we cater to the hardworking men and women of the Capital District, while also building brand awareness with the locals. I have a hard time finding pants with my body shape and they went above and beyond to help, even getting me some men’s pants to try which ended up being my favorite. They were familiar with the different cuts and sizes and how they fit and were honest… not just telling me everything looked good to make a sale.
