  Place is amazing. Truthfully I have never been to a cabellos so my son and I went in and couldn't believe the amount of stuff they have. Not to mention the fish tank as well as the stuffed animals displayed in an artificial habitat display.

  WOW…this place is really going down hill. I bought several pieces of clothing. Three were on clearance for 50% off. The sign says 50% off the original price, meaning not the red sticker price. The first was an original price of $49.99 and a sale price sticker of $32.97, so I was prepared to pay $24.99. The next was an original price of $39.99 and a red sticker of $25.97, so I was prepared to pay $19.99. When they didn’t come up the correct price, I questioned it. I told the cashier Lori Z, the items came off a 50% off rack. She said yeah, it is 50% off the original price not the red sticker, people don’t understand that. I said you are correct, I read the entire sales sign posted in the store and it says 50% off the original price…she then said that’s what it came up as. I said it didn’t come up correctly because 1/2 off $39.99 is not $25.97 and 1/2 off $49.99 is not $32.97. The cashier then told me, she can’t help it if the people who put the sale stickers on the clothing can’t count. I had originally had 3 sale items and I had her take one off. She never offered to make it right or call a supervisor over. The cashier then instructed me to order what I want online because it is more accurate. She then told me she doesn’t step foot in the store when she is not working, she orders on-line. I have never had such a rude and unhelpful employee at Cabela’s. I live very close to this store and Lori Z, is an angry unhelpful employee. I guess false advertising needs to be corrected in court these days.

  After shopping around (scheels, sprortsmans, cabelas) for a bow the employee at cabelas (Gordon) was the best, most informative and most knowledgeable. We couldn’t but that day and he was very helpful anyway. We returned the next week to purchase and unfortunately he wasn’t there but the lady who helped us was just as good.

  This place has gone down hill. Some friends and I came to pick up some items we've been wanting. The fishing selection of Rapala lures is minimal along with most of the selection of fishing equipment. We had trouble even finding someone in any department to assist us. We made our why to the firearms gun room. We found one individual who was busy in his office talking to his friend,but said he would find someone. About five minutes later a guy came out & seemed very inconvenienced to have to even speak to someone let alone show a firearm 'shotgun'. When he finally went to open the case he started yelling at us about a few items that we were purchasing in top the counter of the firearm I was interested in. He finally brought out the firearm for me to inspect. I asked him about a former employee who I personally know. He had nothing nice to say about this individual. I asked him if the price was negotiable. He said absolutely not. I asked him about law enforcement discount & he said military only. Ok,I stated that I would purchase the firearm. He asked for my driver's license, witch I produced. He then tossed some items of his on the center counter and asked me again for my license that I had in my hand presented to him. To then angrily says hang on & goes back into the office. My friend had to leave not wanting to put up with this type of behavior This employee was then in the office slamming cabinet doors forcefully pulling out the paperwork. He then tossed it on the counter & goes back in the office telling me to wait. After waiting a few minutes I went to the office and told him just nevermind & that I would think about it. I took the items I had for purchase to the front checkout and no one was there. I waited a few minutes and then left the items on the counter and left the store. I went to Scheels where I was respectfully created and assisted with professionalism, respect and intelligence. I nor my friends will be doing business with Cabela's in the future. Thanks for the lesson.
