  Associates were friendly and knowledgeable. Picked up an online order. Answered all my questions and were patient. Didn't feel rushed. Have shopped there in the past and will continue.

  I have been a customer since 2020 and have previously purchased a rifle from this location without issue. On March 12, 2026, shortly before closing, I attempted to purchase a handgun. I was told I could not complete the purchase because my address was flagged at the store level, even though my background check was fine. I was then told I could not purchase firearms from any Sportsman’s in Las Vegas and was directed to contact customer service, but no one took the time to clearly explain the issue. I returned on March 14, 2026 to better understand the situation. I was immediately told I could not purchase the firearm at that time. I accepted that decision and tried to ask questions so I could understand what was wrong and what I would need to do in the future. My complaint is not simply that the sale was denied. My complaint is about the associate’s conduct during that conversation. While speaking to me in an aggressive tone and with a raised voice, he told me multiple times that he can and will flag me forever from buying firearms. I explained that I was not trying to argue or be combative and that I only wanted to understand the issue. He admitted that he believed I was trying to debate him about his decision, even though I was only asking questions to gain clarity. I found the interaction threatening, humiliating, and completely disrespectful. I should not have to explain that I am 32 years old and a prior customer in order to be spoken to with basic respect. I look young, but that does not justify being talked to as if I were doing something dishonest or suspicious. I am also a Black American, and I am concerned that my race, combined with the fact that I look younger than my age, affected the way I was spoken to and treated. Whether intentional or not, the interaction made me feel profiled, embarrassed, and singled out. Again, I understand that your store may decline a sale if there is a compliance concern. My issue is the threatening language, the lack of patience, the refusal to calmly explain the issue, and the statement that I could be permanently flagged or banned without a clear reason being provided.

  I dont know why I bother to try to shop here. The gun counter is under staffed, no ticketing system, other customers cutting in line, etc. Going to Bass Pro!
