Today at approximately 2:47 PM, I entered the David Yurman store to purchase a birthday gift for my best friend. I was genuinely excited — I already had a photo of the exact item I wanted, and my intention was simply to make the purchase and continue celebrating her special day.
However, upon entering the store, I stood near the front for approximately five minutes without being acknowledged. During that time, two sales associates were standing at the front engaged in conversation, yet neither greeted me nor offered assistance. I found myself searching for the item alone, waiting to be helped, and ultimately feeling completely overlooked.
As a long-time client who has spent thousands of dollars with your brand, this experience was not only disappointing — it was disheartening. Luxury retail is built on experience, service, and client relationships. Being ignored at the door contradicts the level of hospitality and attentiveness I have come to expect from a brand of this caliber.
What made the situation more frustrating was that I came in ready to purchase. There was no browsing hesitation or uncertainty — I knew exactly what I wanted. Instead of feeling valued as a loyal customer, I felt invisible.
Customer service is the foundation of brand loyalty. Unfortunately, this interaction has left me questioning whether I would return to shop again. I truly hope this feedback is taken seriously and used as an opportunity to reinforce the level of service that your clients deserve

Ask for Jasmin. Had to unfortunately return something because it wasn’t the right design and fit. Jasmin was amazing. She has great patience, knowledge and expertise about DY products. My sister and I visited the David Yurman store yesterday with the intention of purchasing bracelets for our parents. We were dressed casually in jeans and sweaters and had photos of the exact items we planned to buy.
Despite being in the store for approximately 15 minutes, no one acknowledged us—not even a brief “we’ll be with you shortly.” The store was busy, but basic acknowledgment is standard in any high-end retail environment. Eventually, we approached a salesperson, Erika, who had already finished with another client. She had not made any effort to assist us prior to that.
When I asked for help pulling the bracelets we already knew we wanted, her demeanor was noticeably short and unwelcoming. There was little to no communication throughout the transaction. Only after the sale was completed did her tone change, at which point she offered to wrap the bracelets and place them in gift boxes.
This experience was extremely disappointing and felt dismissive. As younger customers, we couldn’t help but feel judged and treated as though we were not serious buyers based on our appearance. What should have been an exciting and meaningful purchase turned into an uncomfortable experience that made us want to leave as quickly as possible.
Had we not needed the gifts that same day, we would have taken our business elsewhere. I would encourage others to shop at a location where customers are treated with respect and not judged at face value. High-end pricing should come with high-end customer service—unfortunately, that was not the case here.

I have purchased maaaaaaany items from a David Yurman store at a different. I was advised to go to this location to exchange a ring. ***BAD DECISION*** The associate who was helping me try on multiple items accused me of stealing a ring. Soon after she came from the back from cleaning my jewelry, she questioned about a missing ring that SHE MISPLACED!! She commented by questioning me a second time by saying, "Are you sure you don't have it?" Keep in mind that I was with a friend and he walked to the glass casing and pointed to the ring she loosely threw in there. No apology was given until I questioned her while I was in the process of large purchase if this store was based on commission. She immediately said, "Yes!" and I immediately told her that I will purchase the item elsewhere. At that moment, she began apologizing and saying, "I didn't mean for you to take it the wrong way." I told her to continue with my return. She went to the back and sent the manager out. Smh!!
