  My first and last time into a David Yurman store. Decided to stop in while at the outlet mall in search of the petite X or open cable ring. I walked in and instantly felt not welcomed and had to ask the taller blonde lady if she was even able to help me because she was too busy standing glaring at me (there were also about 4 others just standing staring but blonde was closest to me). She informed me they did not have it and to try Caesars. Her demeanor prompted me to not want to ever enter another David store. You gave me the service of a WalMart jewelry department not a luxury brand ( have received better service there). Customer Service and a simple "Welcome to the store" goes a long way and if you are not wanting to help any type of person in the store, you probably have the wrong job and should not be in customer service.

  BUYER BEWARE OF JULIE!! I went in yesterday to buy two rings in the photo. I was charged full price for the gold band, which clearly shows the pricing on the tag (thank goodness I took photos of it). I went home and realized it my receipt wasn’t matched as the price on the tag. I usually a don’t make complaints, but I live based off principles. The store manager, Ociel called me back after I called and made my complaint. Their argument was that I bought a rose gold ring.. that made me more upset being that I didn’t open the box yet, to realize that she packaged up a rose gold ring— clearly, I didn’t pick out a rose gold ring, based off the pictures I took, alone!! Their other argument is that each jewelry sent to their store from the company is priced differently based on their flaw- which also wasn’t explained to me upon purchasing these rings. This is COMPLETELY FALSE ADVERTISING and I can’t imagine how many foreigners they’ve ripped off (which is their main clientele). Although, Ociel (store manager) was helpful and made things right when my husband went in, I still don’t appreciate being gaslight. Somehow Julie was always “busy helping a client” when I was on the phone making my complaint with the store. I will be filing a report with the Federal Trade Commission and the Nevada Attorney General’s Bureau of Consumer Protection to make sure they aren’t able to take advantage of others who can’t or are afraid to speak up. As negative as my experience was, I want to highlight that Oziel was beyond patient. Especially, having to deal with a frustrated customer such as myself. Great choice promoting him as manager because he is professional and handled things very well. I read old reviews and it seems this isn’t the first time anyone’s had a bad experience/complaints against Julie. Perhaps, working in sales isn’t for her. I also work in sales and anyone in sales know the number one rule is to never judge a book by its cover.
