  While looking at jackets on an overstuffed clothing rack, an employee came barreling between me and the clothing rack. He didn't say a word, so I said excuse me. He was not interested. I purchased a jacket and had to exchange it for a smaller size. I went back and was waiting at the front of the store with seven others who were also waiting to get into the store, which was supposed to open at 10:00. At 10:08, I phoned the store and asked what time they were going to unlock the doors. The person who answered the phone clearly had no phone skills and told me, "Soon". I asked her to define 'soon'. She said five minutes. At 10:18, someone unlocked the doors and walked away. Didn't hold the door open for customers, didn't apologize for the delay, didn't thank us for patiently waiting. At that point I decided not to exchange the jacket, but to return it. Columbia did not earn my business. Any company that treats customers with such disrespect and disregard doesn't deserve my business.
