  Alo management at this store needs to teach customer service skills to their employees. I have never been treat so poorly at an Alo store. The professional here was awful besides the sweet girl that stood by the door who was the only one who greeted us. (She was the only reason why I gave a star) I went in wanting to by a new pair of pants. I went in looking for the black trousers. Two employees saw me and didn't a say a word to me. I know my husband and I have a ton of tattoos and weren't dressed in fancy clothes but you could definitely tell they were already judging. The looks they were giving were noticeable. The girl who worked the fitting room was very rude and dismissive. There was a guy at the fitting room who definitely looked like he had money who had a stack on shorts and she was very nice to him but when it came to me she continued to be rude. You could very much tell that she was judging someone by what they wear and look like. Even though I wanted those trousers that day I left because of how my interaction was with this store. Please do some customer service training with your employees. I've never had an experience at any store in California where I live currently. This store is going to be the close to our new home and it's unfortunate that the employees working here are so judgemental.

  Terrible customer service experience. I received an item as a gift, but it doesn’t fit and it’s also defective—it’s missing the drawstring. I brought it into the store, explained the situation, and the item still had the tag attached. Instead of trying to help, the staff only asked for the original purchaser’s phone number, email, or a receipt. Since it was a gift, I didn’t have that information. Despite the item clearly being defective, they refused to offer an exchange or any kind of solution. It was very disappointing to see such a lack of flexibility or willingness to help a customer. A situation like this should be handled with better customer care, especially when the product itself has an issue. Based on this experience, it feels like they care more about policy than actually helping their customers.

  I don't know why some reviewers had an issue with the service here. I was prepared for the worst but I just had the best service possible. Rebecca was friendly, knowledgeable and steered me to exactly what I needed. Great experience and I will shop there again.

  I enjoy my experience at Alo, the cashier a nice blonde young guy was really sweet. I was greeted, allowed to shop without someone asking me a million questions if I needed help, and purchased the products quickly, with a kind smile and a short conversation. I personally do not wear ALO but my boyfriend enjoyed the products.
