I have never dealt with more bullshit from customer service reps. They will lie to you about costs, shipping/arrival times, when to pick it up and even why they haven't been able to get you your product. From someone who doesn't have a criminal history, its egregious that I have to put on a clown suit, ride a uni bike through an obstacle course just to try to get some protection. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM SPORTSMAN!!!!

I purchased a firearm from the Sportsman's Warehouse in Las Cruces. I waited the 7 day mandatory waiting period and went to pick it up. As the cashier behind the gun counter was finishing the paperwork to release it to me he droped the gun on the concrete floor. It was in a box but the box had no padding. He never said a word about it. When I got home and was able to inspect the gun I noticed the mounting rail on the top was damaged enough that mounting a scope on this firearm could become problematic. I drove back to Sportsmens and explained what had happend and the cashier who I was talking to (and was the person who droped the gun) tryied to dismiss my worries by saying he "didnt drop the gun on that side" and he "didnt think that damage was from dropping it". He talked to another cashier and he said that they would refund me and get me a new one but I would have to wait the 7 day period again. He then proceeded to take 20 minutes in the back looking for a new one before checking me out. The part that really frustrated me was when he went to give me a refund he said that he could not refund the warranty I purchased for the original gun and that I would have to sort that out my self online with some company. So after waising an hour in the store I have to wait another 7 days for my firearm and fight with another company to refund my warenty who may not even do it. All because your employees made a mistake and dare I say did the bare minimum to fix it. What terable customer service.

I went to this store this morning, March 9th at 9:30 wanting to purchase a firearm that was supposedly on sale per your website. There were two other people in line and the woman behind the counter appeared to be having issues with the first customer so, I left to make a phone call.
Twenty minutes later, I came back to the store and requested to purchase the firearm that was listed on sale per their website. The employee stated that she could not sell me the firearm because that particular gun was not at their store location, would have to be shipped from another store and that I would need to purchase it online, then pick it up at a later date!
I simply wanted to purchase the gun at the Sportsman's Warehouse in Las Cruces, NM. Why does your store policy prevent that? Most people prefer to make firearm purchases at the store, in-person!
I drove down the street to Miller Guns and Ammo and was able to purchase the same firearm with half cash and the other half on my bank card which is what I wanted to do at Sportsman's warehouse. Why are your store policies so screwed up?
Please read your reviews! This store has experienced numerous, customer service complaints. Many very recently.
Also, please don't bother sending me your corporate contact information as you have already lost me as a future customer.
I will go to Miller Guns and Ammo from now on...
