I’m sure JCPENNY stands with these racist, hateful values, as nobody else chimed in or stopped her. I hope to see her fired, if not reprimanded. She has multiple complaints against her, clearly she is an issue.

Then another employee asked her to help me and she walked up to me and stared at me did not say a single word, greet me or ask what item I needed help with. Would recommend going ANYWHERE else until they train their employees. She is disgusting.

- KWKate WhiteOct 19, 20251.0We had some spare time this Sunday October 19 2025, and we decided to go to the mall (Ocean County Mall Toms River NJ) and do some pre holiday shopping. We walked in and immediately noticed that the store was very empty of shoppers. Then the further we walked in we began to realize why! All I could say is "How awful!" The store looked like they are going out of business, clothing laying around on the floors, displays of just mixed merchandise like it was just thrown out there to have at it! Wheeled carts obviously just rolled out straight from a truck! I can honestly say this store is the worst I have ever seen it and we have been shopping here since moving to NJ over twenty years ago. This was our go to store to get what we needed, now its hard to even know where departments begin and where the end, not to mention the lack of sales help. I will not sugar coat this review, unfortunelty we will be doing our shopping elsewhere. It's a shame that such a prestigious department store with a great history has gone the route of a pop up discount store.
