- YYYazJan 31, 20261.0The staff of this J Crew are extremely rude and abrasive, so much so, that we will never shop at J Crew again. Two workers followed me around the store while I was waiting for my husband in the fitting room. Meanwhile, there was another young woman in a sweatshirt and leggings and an elderly woman that they were not harassing. We were in the store for less than 10 minutes and once they saw my husband come out of the fitting room, they finally backed off of me. Very strange profiling and bigotry in this store; I would much rather shop at any of the clothing stores in the Grove where I don’t feel treated like a criminal for simply existing.

Whether you go in for the quick pickup, pick it up at your door or in need of the quick tailor, J Crew Shrewsbury is the best location I've been to.

I 100% would’ve said something to the manager, but I did not feel like starting an issue.

I was going to a wedding and realized I forgot to pack my suit (~4hrs away). I called the store when they opened and spoke with Kathy. Incredibly friendly. She took down my measurements and notes about what I was looking for. When I arrived that afternoon, Suzanne had two suit options set aside for me to try on. Good mix of some sale items as well as some full priced items. I did not feel like I was upsold or pressured to buy either options. They definitely made note of what I was in the market for from my call. I left with a well fitted option that was perfect for the wedding. I was also surprised that a few of the items they selected were on sale in-store but full priced online. So I saved a good ~$200 less than I expected.
