- JAJuan AcostaAug 29, 20181.0I visited this store with one of my black female friends and was met with immediate condescension and dismissiveness from all of the sales associates. I'm sure any deviation from the suburban WASPs who frequent this mall is alarming to the maids that work here, but alas, here we were being followed, watched, and questioned endlessly during our visit in what I'm sure was another cliché case of racial profiling. The most amusing part of the visit was receiving an unsolicited and patronizing lecture about Max Mara's history; however, little did they know I spent years working at one of the most iconic fashion magazines in the world.
