When I returned 2 sweatshirts that my son purchased as quick UBER delivered gifts for his Gma and me, they were unfortunately two big for either of us...while I liked the merchandise that the stores carries (and my son owns several ALO items), I planned on returning the items upon my return from Orlando to NJ..I was almost afraid to return the items given the horrendous experiences that I read about how customers were treated when they tried to return items..however, my experience was nothing short of a pleasant experience. Vinny greeted me at the store entrance with a smile and directions to where I could return the items..upon reaching the counter, Min was the sweetest and expeditiously returned my items within seconds...now, to be clear about my return, I returned within the return time allotted per policy, the money was returned to the original form of purchase, tags on, not worn, not washed..etc. Thank you ALO, Short Hills, NJ.(Vinny and Min) for this positive experience. HNY and see u soon, this time for a purchase!

I had the worst experience at the store today. Went it to an exchange, two rep was training talking away... I asked if one of them could assist me and they both looked annoyed at me. One who was said she would like to know what I needed help with was so annoyed of me asking her questions regarding if they had my size. Went up to the cashier this lady with blonde strikes was just so nasty. She said 30 days had past and had a nasty attitude, so I said can I have manager to see if they can make an exception seen that I live 2 hours away from the store. Omg! Turns out both ladies who as annoyed at me at first, one was the manager. I can understand their return policy but oh wow that's not how you deal with customers. The manager was nasty just as the reps. I will never go back or purchase from Alo again. Terrible experience. They need customer service training. I took up a hoodie and base on how they were acting I said it's OK. I can't spend my money and feeling like am bothering you! I wish I had gotten her name. I hope they 3 see my reviews and know I am disgusted buy their nasty service!!! I'll never shop there again!!

If I could give zero stars, I would. I had a truly awful experience at this store. I came in looking for a pair of trousers (a $150 item) and asked for assistance, but the two associates I approached seemed completely uninterested in helping. They were chatting among themselves and didn’t acknowledge me until I interrupted them.
They asked someone in the back to bring the pants but never explained that they weren’t on display or gave me any update. I was just left standing there waiting. Moments later, I saw the same associate helping another customer and continuing to ignore me. The pants never arrived.
When I asked another employee for help, he wouldn’t even make eye contact, brought the wrong size, and told me they didn’t have mine — even though the website clearly showed it in stock. It honestly felt like they didn’t want me to buy the item at all.
I left the store feeling humiliated and deeply uncomfortable. I have never felt so dismissed and discriminated against while shopping anywhere.
