Terrible experience at the new corporate Van Cleef Short Hills this weekend. I was excited to visit the new store this weekend but was taken back by the cold/rude welcome. While the new store is beautiful the staff is extremely unwelcoming, verging on nasty. I was told there was a 30 minute wait to speak to a SA but at least 4 SA’s were sitting at their desks staring at their phones with no customers. There were maybe two customers in the entire store. It was the strangest thing. My wife and I have been Van Cleef customers for years and have never been treated so poorly. The old boutique run by London Jewelers was incredible. The staff was always warm and took amazing care of me. Made me always feel special and welcome. I definitely will NEVER be shopping at the new Short Hills boutique. It does not cost anything to be kind, welcoming and give a customer a smile!
I recently noticed that my VCA necklace has a link loosened/open, and decided to go to the short hills, NJ location for a consultation. I’m so pleased to be assisted by Sun, who showed tremendous compassion and expertise, and provided a smooth, seamless experience for me to get the service required for the necklace. I’m extremely grateful and happy with the result! Thank you VCA and happy to be a customer. Please highlight Sun as an ambassador to demonstrate the quality and service of the brand of VCA. A job well done!!
It was more like an exceptional experience than just purchasing a piece of jewelry. Highly recommend this place if you want the experience instead of purchasing online. Even waiting was pleasant ( I arrived earlier). My appointment was 1230pm and I made my mind in 10min but I left the boutique at 130pm. I tried some other pieces for fun as well. Sun helped me and she was phenomenal ✨️

My first visit to the Short Hills boutique was wonderful from beginning to end. The staff( Bing Wu) truly understood what customers want, and the service was exceptional and very attentive. The store used to be managed by London Jewelers, but it is now directly operated by Van Cleef & Arpels. The boutique has moved to a larger, more beautiful space with an even more stunning selection of jewelry. For those living in New Jersey, there’s no longer any need to go all the way to Manhattan
