  I went to the store today with a pair of wellies that I purchased in November 2024 with the purpose of wearing them in London and the Cotswolds in January and February 2025. I wore them there — they were comfortable and waterproof. I put them away until January 2026 when I pulled them out for a trip to Rome. It rains a lot in Rome during the winter. All was well until the third week of the trip when I realized that both boots were coming apart along the seam. Desperate for dry feet, I found super glued them along the seam. The glue held fast for the next week and a half. I was disappointed by the failure of my wellies as they had only been worn for a total of less than 4 months. I was used to LL Bean guarantees so I took them back to the store. “ oh sorry, we only guarantee our products for a year.” That’s it for me. Ll Bean has apparently entered the throwaway age. I have shopped there for many years but I’m done! Very disappointed

  No greetings from the staff when entering the store, while shopping nor at the register. The employee who rang up my items never said 1 word to me . No hello, no goodbye, no have a great day, NOTHING ! Not 1 single employee spoke to me the entire time I was there. It was my first time ever going to a L.L.Bean store and definitely my last at this location. Unprofessional & Unhelpful staff made me feel unimportant & undervalued.
