- NCNancy CalabrettaFeb 18, 20261.0I went to the store today with a pair of wellies that I purchased in November 2024 with the purpose of wearing them in London and the Cotswolds in January and February 2025. I wore them there — they were comfortable and waterproof. I put them away until January 2026 when I pulled them out for a trip to Rome. It rains a lot in Rome during the winter. All was well until the third week of the trip when I realized that both boots were coming apart along the seam. Desperate for dry feet, I found super glued them along the seam. The glue held fast for the next week and a half. I was disappointed by the failure of my wellies as they had only been worn for a total of less than 4 months. I was used to LL Bean guarantees so I took them back to the store. “ oh sorry, we only guarantee our products for a year.” That’s it for me. Ll Bean has apparently entered the throwaway age. I have shopped there for many years but I’m done! Very disappointed

No hello, no goodbye, no have a great day, NOTHING ! Not 1 single employee spoke to me the entire time I was there. It was my first time ever going to a L.L.Bean store and definitely my last at this location. Unprofessional & Unhelpful staff made me feel unimportant & undervalued.
