  This is the second year in a row that I’ve had issues with this store and the deliveries. Last year they didn’t follow the additional instructions to ring the doorbell when leaving the delivery. My mother accidentally found the delivery at night when she took the garbage out. Earlier this week, I tried sending my parents a delivery. It was a fruit and candy and flowers package. I ordered online (an awful experience, the website is not optimized for anything other than a laptop), and I requested one hour delivery, trying to avoid last year’s problem. This order with the delivery fee and a tip fell short of $200. I received a call from Emily three hours ahead of closing advising me that they were very busy and shortstaffed, so the delivery couldn’t be made same day. She offered to comp the delivery fee, which I appreciated, and agreed. I let my parents know to expect the delivery on Friday. Yesterday (Friday), my mom called to thank me for the fruit. When I asked about the flowers, she told me they hadn’t received any. I called the store and had to leave a voicemail advising them of the error. I received a call back from Emily who apologized and said they’d deliver the flowers the next day (Saturday) and she would advise the manager (Janet/Janice) of the issue and to refund me the delivery fee and the cost of the flowers and vase. Today is Saturday. My parents had to run out for about an hour this morning. They had a voicemail from the store asking them to call because delivery had been attempted and the people who answered the door knew nothing about the delivery or who the delivery was for. That’s because THEY WENT TO THE WRONG HOUSE NUMBER (very new neighbors who know no one yet). How can that even happen? EA has my original order and had delivered to the correct address yesterday. I had to leave another voicemail (because this is apparently typical) a short time ago, and am still awaiting a callback. They are getting one star because at least the fruit both years has been fresh and delicious, according to my parents. That being said, I will never order from the Mahwah Edible Arrangements store, if I even order from the company again. Between the website issues, the cost, and the rest of the hassles, its not worth it.

  The strawberries were plump and DELICIOUS; the dark chocolate covering was thick and delicious. I was proud to give this gift to my hostess.
