  Had a very unpleasant experience April 3rd with the seamstress. Purchased a long satin gown, 2 weeks ago, was told could be altered to fit better. When I went back to have it altered the lady named, Maria basically said she couldnt alter it. That the dress was too big for me (obviously thats why I went to alter it) she kept repeating I didnt have the breasts for it. That the gown was made for bustier women. She would say it pretty loudly. She said that she could do it but it would be a problem later on which she did not elaborate on. She also stated to watch out who I let put their hands on it to fix it. She kept telling the other woman working with her, "she doesnt have the right body for this dress, its not possible". If i had known that altering it was impossible I would have saved myself the money, the disrespect and embarrassment of having my body talked about in this way. Other customers in the fitting room heard everything and came out their rooms trying to make me feel better. I have never felt that awful and it left me in literal tears. The other 2 saleswomen at the other counter were very sweet and offered to look for a smaller size (I bought a size 2. None available in a smaller size in their database). They tried to help me so much but I was very much disillusioned by the experience and just wanted to leave. I highly doubt I'll ever want to go to that location again.

  The sales representatives (Anthony Appiah ) is the reason for my excellent experience at Nordstrom. I ended up signing up for the credit card because of the benefits Anthony told us about. Not only did I open the credit card . I got two bottles of Versace zeros Parfum. I suggest anyone looking for a great experience to look for Anthony. You won’t be disappointed.
