We spent over $150 on a backpack and clothes, but when I tried on a pair of shoes (without buying them), we were charged an automatic tip of $2–3 at checkout without being informed or even asked. There was no service involved beyond someone handing me the shoes. No consultation, no help just an automatic “gratuity” added to the bill for… existing, I guess? This kind of hidden charge feels extremely dishonest, especially in a retail store. Tipping should be voluntary and based on service not sneakily integrated into the card terminal for customers who simply try something on. Really frustrating and disappointing. I won’t be returning.

I didn’t come back to this store until two weeks later. However, the website changes the price back so I clearly can’t get the price difference and also the staff act like they own the place and gave me an attitude when I want to return it.
