  I'm very upset l ordered a nice blondo boots on black Friday. they didn't even give me a chance to pick it up and suddenly l get an email that my boots is returned and refunded and its no longer available, im very upset

  I had knee surgery the week before and this was my first time leaving the house. I went to Nordstrom in Bridgewater to buy a pair of On Cloud sneakers and a few other items I needed badly. I was on crutches and moving slowly, and the associate helping me was kind enough to put my items behind the counter while I made my way to checkout. The problem had nothing to do with the frontline employees — it was the management and complete lack of organization. There were about 10 of us waiting in line, and the three customers ahead of me were all online pickup orders. Instead of having a pickup station, the cashiers had to leave the register, walk across the store to dig through a mountain of brown boxes stacked to the ceiling, come back, open the boxes with each customer, check sizes, confirm items, then repeat this for each person. Meanwhile, everyone in the checkout line — paying customers who just wanted to purchase and leave — was stuck waiting. I know it was over 10 minutes because my attorney called me, I told him to call back in ten, and I was still in line when he did. A manager and supervisor eventually appeared, and I hoped they would step in. Instead, they sent one of the cashiers on break while the line grew more frustrated. When I politely said, “Hey, we’ve been waiting over 10 minutes. Can someone please prioritize checkout instead of blocking the line with online pickups?” the supervisor looked at me with pure disdain — as if I was the problem for pointing out what every customer was thinking. I was on crutches, in pain, and still treated like an inconvenience. Nordstrom usually stands for customer service, but this store was the exact opposite — disorganized, slow, unprofessional, and dismissive. This is why I’m giving it one star. Until management gets their act together, checkout will remain a disaster and customers will continue walking out frustrated.
