- JJJordonAug 12, 20252.0I usually enjoy shopping at Aerie, but during two recent visits to the North Conway, NH store, I witnessed the store manager speaking to staff in a loud, condescending way right on the sales floor. On both visits, she singled out and reprimanded an assistant who had been helping me, causing her to step away mid-assistance. This was upsetting to watch, especially since the assistant had been friendly and helpful. The atmosphere became tense, customers (including us) left without buying, and I noticed other shoppers leaving as well. It was disappointing to see this kind of treatment in a store I normally enjoy.
