- MTMeghan TrahanDec 7, 20253.0I love the clothes at American Eagle but I’ve run into issues with the return process. I recently tried to return a shirt, started the process online and chose to return in-store, printed the return label, went to the store, and then was told I can’t return it yet because it takes the system a few days to process that it’s been delivered. I received the item a few days ago and had no problem printing the return label, so it just does not make sense to me that the cashier couldn’t have gotten her manager to override something and let me return it after I’d come all that way to bring it back to the store. Now I have to waste another hour trying again another day and who knows what random issue they might have that time. There was just no consideration or care given, terrible customer service.
