- COChris OffuttJan 5, 20261.0Ordered an item for in store pick up which was supposed to be in stock and available for pick up within an hour. The next day the order shifted to preparing to ship. I was not contacted to confirm if this would be acceptable. I requested the order to be cancelled via online chat and was told I would receive confirmation and the refund would begin processing within 24 hours. The cancellation needed to be actioned by the Scheels in Omaha. Later that day I visited the Omaha Scheels and found the rifle sitting on display. I inquired about it and the sales assistant didn't seem willing to let me acquire it. I then went to customer service to ask them to cancel my order. The individual stated it was cancelled and I would receive a confirmation e-mail. It is now the next day and the online order still shows as preparing to ship and I have not received an email confirming that my order is cancelled which means Scheels is still tying up over $1k of my money as the refund has still not begun processing.

I had some questions on it and seemed like everyone just walked away and did not want to help so I ended up not buying. The only reason I’m not giving a 1 star on this experience is because of the older gentleman that asked if I needed help right when I first got there
- ELEric LamrbechtDec 29, 20251.0Went into Scheels last night to pick up some ice fishing gear. I looked at a Clam two man flip over which I asked the gentleman behind the marine counter if this was the only one. From the word go this guy was acting if I was bothering him. He looked it up and said that's the only one. I asked if could purchase the floor model his response was "yep". I then asked if there was a discount for the floor model which he replied "I wont charge you the $200 set up fee". I told him whatever and would take it he then was put out that he had to call someone over and get it off the shelf. I asked him to take the 6' runner kit down with the sled and he just glared at us. You would think that a customer who just spent $1,600.00 in cash would be treated a little better and the staff would not be put out when customers ask questions.
- BKBryan KummerDec 22, 20251.0There archery section is a bunch is frauds and scammers. My brother took the exact same bow as me in and they gave him 850 bucks. I took mine in and they said they would only give me 650 I had better attachments on the bow and it was the Lift 34 my brothers was the lift 29. I have never been impressed with Scheels archery department overall and I highly recommend people find the smaller shops that are more knowledgeable and won’t screw up your bows like Scheels does. Defiantly don’t sell your used bows to them as they will screw you over. Per there archery section (it sucks to be a lefty) apparently that cost me 200 dollars. Even tho they price them the same on the shelf. Scheels Omaha one star! I would like to add it’s more of a slap in the face that I bought this bow brand new from them same price as the right handed bows. I will ensure to not buy from them again and anyone I know in the future I’ll tell to do the same. Iv had better service online and at small shops.

Oh an worse part is the two men working in the NFL apparel section standing there talking to one another casually. Believe they were ASL. I asked if this was all they had for NFL hats they responded yes an walked away talking! Would of thought one of them would be like yes can I help you find a certain team? NOPE. Never had anything like this happen at scheels across America. An won't be doing business with omaha location anymore!
