I have to say I have been extremely impressed with everyone I've interacted with at this Scheels location. The quality and selection of products they have is top notch. If by chance there is an product, size, variation you are not able to find in store, associates have always been more than helpful in assisting to locate an acceptable alternative, or even to ship the item directly to me at no cost! And not only that, but everyone has done so with a smile. I will definitely be recommending Scheels to all my family and friends.

They're helpful but will sell you broken products. Spent 700 on a new firearm, came with a case that was broken which they didn't catch, and the guy said tough luck when i told him im from out of town.

TLDR: An attendant was rude about my wife using a fitting room and made her uncomfortable for simply trying on a jacket.
My wife went in to look for a winter jacket since we just moved here from Arizona and she needed something warmer. She grabbed a few jackets she’d seen online and asked to use a fitting room. The first person who helped her was great and had no issue getting her set up.
When she came back out to grab another size, a different worker stopped her and said, “You don’t need a fitting room for trying on jackets,” but in a rude tone. She also kept asking what my wife was wearing underneath and why she needed a fitting room in the first place. My wife is self-conscious and just wanted some privacy and a good mirror not to be standing in the middle of the department.
After my wife told her she was uncomfortable and just wanted to try on another size, the worker finally let her use the room, but even after that, other employees seemed to be watching and following her around. It made the whole thing really awkward when all she wanted to do was try on a coat.
It’s disappointing because we’ve always liked Scheels and shop there a lot, but after this experience, we probably won’t be coming back to this location.

Yesterday, a metal Nike sign fell on my sons head in the shoe department at the Omaha Scheels store. Instead of an employee staying to help clean up the blood and make sure my son was okay, they ran to check the cameras. While we appreciate them confirming that the video showed no fault of my son's, there was no worry for him. I had to take him to the ER to get the gash in his head taken care of. He had to get painful staples and has been in a lot of pain. The Scheels staff did not show any compassion or concern for my sons head injury. My son's dad had to clean up the blood while the Scheels employees were nowhere to be found. A day later and still nobody from Scheels will answer our emails or calls. We are very disappointed to say the least.
