Went into the store to return or exchange my jeans. Right when I walk in the cashier walks away from me and doesn't acknowledge me. Walks up finally and seems annoyed she has to do another return when she sees I have one. Both the manager and the cashier were extremely rude. I bought two pair of jeans online. I then recieved one of the same pair for Christmas. The darker pair didnt fit right but I did take the tag off that pair but had my original receipt. She told me since I took the tag off one pair I couldn't return or exchange. I understand that policy and moved passed that. But...I wasn't able to return the one with the tags on due to it being past the 30 day policy. I bought a pair for myself and received the same pair for Christmas and it is Jan 10th. I purchased mine on Nov 30th that are the same pair I already got for Christmas and unsure when those were purchased. Only thing they stated I could do was exchange for a different size of the same jeans that I had two of doesn't make sense if one was a Christmas present. I dont need two of the same pair. Then she insults my intelligence by saying she could read the return policy to me. I know how to read. I just dont understand if this is a few weeks after Christmas and I already had these same jeans why I couldn't exchange for a different pair or get store credit. I called Customer Service and they were happy to help me return them. I was even able to return the ones without the tag since they were never worn. Why is online and tbis store so different? Omaha location has never treated me like this... only this location. I wont be shopping at this location again. Horrible way to treat their customers. I honestly may not shop American Eagle again for how horrible this service was.

I order a lot online, and of course the only AE in Lincoln is closed for renovation, so I made the trip to Nebraska Crossing. Plus I could go in and shop a little too. I walked in and wasn’t greeted, whatever I’m sure it’s slow. I went around and stood in line. There was a manager type lady standing at the corner, I assume taking inventory. I wait a few minutes and she looks up and says do you have any questions? But very rudely. Not even like a hi hello, just rude. I’ve been in retail/food service for 12 years, not how one would act. I say I have a return and even before I finish she gets on her headset and says someone has a customer up front. He asks what I need. After the long process, took longer than usual, my friend and I browsed. I’m sad because it looked like they had a lot of good things but I wasn’t about to ask for a dressing room. Next time I’ll just continue the drive to Omaha.

Was getting my fiancee Halloween boxers that were in the ‘SALE’ marked area, got two pairs because it said buy one get $5 off. When paying for it the total was $40. When I asked the cashier if there was any discount for two sale areas labeled above these boxers she said “the Halloween ones are not on sale”. I was highly disappointed in the mislabeling as there’s 30+ boxers in this area Halloween themed, that says both “sale” and “buy one get one $5 off”. Please work on correcting the misleading information.

Good selection of clothing for men. I wish they were stocked up on smaller sizes. Prices are pretty expensive for the quality of clothing. My husband will only wear American eagle so if he’s happy with the clothing I’m happy with the clothing.
