Best and most diverse selection of high end sporting goods, with GREAT customer service from knowledgeable, well trained staff. Addison the cashier especially stood out to me with her friendly, fun demeanor. They also have a candy shop with some damn good caramel apples, and good coffee and food in the cafe!

I don't know what to say about this location. I should have just said "hell no" to going inside. It was so busy, my guess is because of Christmas shopping, but we came on the 19th. There was no parking anywhere in sight. People were stopping near the entrance just to let others out while the driver parked, causing traffic near the entrances to the parking lot. When you finally find a parking spot and go inside; it immediately felt like a mosh pit, a Japanese train car, people just bumping into one another, crowding in sections of the store, mainly near the entrance cause of everyone checking out, while there was an influx of the same amount of people coming in. It felt like the good old days of chaos which stemmed from Black Friday; minus the deals, and people running with their heads cut off, bringing a slight enjoyment to watch the chaos happening from people's madness. It seemed so much like a major fire hazard for how many people were in this building, even the second floor wasn't exempt from the chaos the first floor brought. This location must be a fairly popular one, especially cause of the ferris wheel, there were flipping school busses in the parking lot. Either way moving on from that chaos; the staff were ok for how much they could handle from all that chaos, a little pushy, slightly rude, just depends on how you look at it. Although this changes between the floor you happened to be on, the staff on the second floor were more polite, walking up to you and helping if you needed, basically just checking in. The first floor staff; seemed like they were to flip out at any moment, trying to control the influx of chaos, so I don't really put to much on them cause of that. I have no clue why the managers at this location only decided 2 registeres for most of the time we were there. Finally opening more over time, but the wait time just to check out was 30 minutes if you were lucky, to almost 2 hours depending on when you happened to walk to check out. The store was also dog friendly for some reason, so many people bring dogs, almost everywhere you walked in the store, there was a dog, often seeing how some dogs barked and growled at one another.

Great store with lots of products. Plus where else can you get a Ferris wheel ride for a dollar. Maybe that helps get sales so you can spot more items quickly from the Ferris wheel. But either way it's a nice place to shop and they usually have everything you need. One thing I haven't found there is french fries but I guess it's not that kind of a store so you can't really take any stars off for that.

I need to share this experience with all who will read/follow. I had purchased a coat in the last winter season. I wore it approximately 3 times. The last time was last Saturday during our shopping day in Fargo. At the beginning of our day my zipper got messed up and I was not able to get it to open at the bottom as it was a two-way zipper. I was able to step out of the coat but could still not get the zipper to open (or come apart). And since we were in Fargo I thot I’d ask to see if the staff at the Fargo Scheels would b able to give me some idea of how to get it open. Customer service sent me to the outer wear department where a gentleman tried to get it open. Since he could not, he called a manager who just decided to defect the coat but I wanted the same item. I just HAPPENED to b standing under the same brand AND color and they were able to find my size. So I ended up with a brand new coat because I asked about a stuck zipper! During the defect write up they were able to undo the zipper but thot it best that I take the new coat since there had been quite a bit of pressure put on the zipper during the ‘rescue’. Never in a million years would I have guessed I could get a coat REPLACED because of a stuck zipper! Costumer service at Scheels has always been amazing but this was the best I have ever experienced! Mr Scheel was very much into customer service being the most important part of a business and living in the area where the stores started I was made aware of this most of my life but was still surprised/shocked when this happened to me. Thank you Scheels!!!

The store has such a wide variety of items for most anyone and at reasonable prices. The staff is super friendly and the store is pet friendly so I can always count on getting to pet at least 1 dog every time I'm there. One of my favorite places to visit!
