- KDkathleen demascoDec 23, 20251.0Not one to complain but I tried to return an item I bought online. This was a week ago I didn’t have the receipt and I forgot my JCPenney card. She told me she couldn’t do the return without one of those two things. Ok, no problem. I came back in today, same woman was there she looked up my phone number, found my orders and I looked on my phone so we could see which order it was returned it no problem. She didn’t need my card or a receipt. So I came all the way back for something that could’ve been done the first time I was there. To make this trip even better as I was walking back to the return department I saw a pair of earrings I liked and was going to buy. I assumed you had to checkout at the jewelry department but when I asked one of the three employees there if I could checkout there the one lady made some vague gesture with her hand and mumbled something I couldn’t understand and turned back to the other 2 employees. She barely looked at me. Needless to say I didn’t buy the earrings. Think I’ll stick to online shopping.
