- DLDale LakeApr 3, 20265.0I wanted to take a moment to recognize an exceptional employee I had the pleasure of interacting with yesterday (Thursday afternoon April 2nd, 2026 around 4:30 PM). Sam (I believe short for Samantha), who was working the checkout area near the makeup counter, truly stood out. She was incredibly helpful, kind, and understanding throughout our interaction. What impressed me most was her genuine warmth and willingness to go above and beyond—she made the entire experience feel easy, supported, and even enjoyable. It’s rare to come across someone who represents a brand with such natural grace and professionalism. I’ve always been a fan of Belks, but I can honestly say I’ve seldom encountered an employee quite like Sam. She is an outstanding ambassador for the company and a clear example of excellent customer service. I sincerely hope someone in management sees this and recognizes her for a job exceptionally well done. She absolutely deserves it!!!

Tiffany who was working the cosmetic counter refused to give me the 25% off of my shoes without a coupon, even though the sign on the display that I showed her clearly stated 25% off, no mention of any coupon needed. The wonderful salesperson working in shoes who I then went to, apologized and took care of it. Some people clearly don’t need to be in customer service.
