  This little store is quite nice. Everything is organized nicely and displayed beautifully. The cashier was very nice. Store was not crammed so full. You couldn’t get around there again. I use a walker so being able to access things are very important to me. Nice store. I would shop there again.

  Shopped in here for the third time and I always buy something. But each time I’m racially profiled. Today I came in with a bag from a previous store, a store next door and right away was followed around. And over heard one of the cashiers say “oh it’s just a bag from another store” like she was told to go see what it was. I wanted to try on some pants so I let the attendant know I was going in to try on the ONE PAIR I had.. decided to buy them even though I shouldn’t have spent a penny in there but I needed them for work. So as I’m at the register a young lady of color says “I’ll go check the fitting rooms” goes directly in the one I came out of like she was going to check if anything was in there that maybe could’ve been taken or tags torn I don’t know. Truly disrespectful and a terrible way to treat customers just because a different race. We will not shop at this location anymore.

  It isn't as big as some Burke's I have been in, they are better stocked and have way more stuff and more variety to choose from in this shallotte store then in any other big Burke's store I have been in.
